Need help trying to get rid of this hacker/virus/spyware?

some hacker hacked into my internet explorer and keeps making ads pop up. Now i use firefox and i tried to get rid of this thru anti-spyware and anti-virus software, but they still pop up. So someone said to uninstall my I.E., but that didn’t work so i deleted it and i deleted all the I.E. files except two which say i cannot delete these two file because it is being used by a person or program. So i’m thinking this might be the hacker using my .I.E. so how do i delete this files to get rid of the hacker? Read more

It’s called something like Trojan.KillAV, I think. Norton 360 keeps picking it up, and says it “successfully fixed the threat” but obviously, it hasn’t.
On the symnatec website it says that the threat level is low, but Norton 360 reads it as high.
Things that I have noticed going wrong with my computer is that the control panel got removed from the start menu, but before that I couldn’t access any of the options as it would say, “This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.” I can’t access the time/calender options if I double click on the analog time on the bottom right hand of the desktop, and I’m pretty sure there is Malware in my system as well. I can’t change my desktop background because of the above message as well, or the desktop theme. Read more
